Which is different from you ignoring obvious facts how? Im not ignoring facts. Im just saying they used information funded by the hillary campaign as a pretense to wiretap people who worked for trump. Bar none. Thats stupid. Especially with how sketchy it was. We don't know what else was used to extend the FISA 3 times. It is hinted in GOP memo that dossier was one of the evidences used in FISA. We don't know what else was used because the FISA warrants are highly classified.

Im not. Im not okay with it be used as the basis for a warrant. The wiretap in itself I really have no problem with. Im only really aware of its relation to page, not manafort. I don't think it was used as the basis for the FISA warrant though. It's pretty likely that's because of the Manafort stuff since they were already surveilling him and after he left they were already aware of the Papadapa brag at that time for over three months (like I've said), and that's probably it. Nunes even says they didn't start spying on Page specifically until October 2016, and then kept spying on him thereafter for at least three known times. Only 0.04% of FISA warrants ever in forty years have gotten rejected. That's what makes the process so shit. It's basically an automatic spy approval for anything for any reason given. The problem isn't what's in the dossier being used for the warrant (because it in all likelihood wasn't the basis for it), it's the approval process if anything is sketchy. The Times has requested the info though so while I doubt we get it, there's at least a slim chance we get the info.

Nunes created his own fake news site because I guess Fox News and the like aren't good enough?
Supposedly the house intel panel is gonna take a vote to release the dem memo sometime this week and if they do that they don't need trump's approval.
Why Schiff (or someone else) isn't just reading it into official house records yet is beyond me, but hey what do I know.

Yup, I am afraid it would have to be the full house. Well, Republicans have the clear majority so it could get icky but it would be the last option. Short of leaking it to the media, which would be a major felony, but nothing stops a congressman or senator from leaking it anonymously.

I'm slightly surprised that it didn't wind up leaking once it hit the White House anyway. I know they somewhat clamped down on whistle blowing but Axios still has gotten other shit. I guess the trump people are too busy putting out other fires this weekend to leak shit. I suspect that either Schiff/Pelosi is gonna read it into records, or they're gonna let it leak to the media probably on Friday. Do a dems news dump for once.

Mittens makes it official, he's running for Hatch's seat.
He'll easily coast to it in all likelihood.

OutRosez Looks like Bannon has a lot of incriminating stuff on Trump and himself, but he openly refuses to answer questions. I wonder what can they do next? I don't understand what being held in contempt of law does. What - they put him in jail for not answering questions? Can't Trump just pardon him? This is also insane.. White House arguing Trump has executive privilege from before Trump became president.. Why does nobody from Congress openly call Trump out on that bs? Jeez..

White House arguing Trump has executive privilege from before Trump became president.. Why does nobody from Congress openly call Trump out on that bs? Jeez.. I don't think they can do anything with him on contempt probably, but admittedly I don't know anything about it. They could subpoena him again at a later date though if they have something else to ask him about but they'd need more/bigger evidence and reason to do so. I'll defend Bannon and say that for maybe legal reasons he had good reason to not answer anything. He might be bargaining with Mueller, he might not have anything that incriminates Trump but only incriminates himself (unlikely), he just doesn't want to screw over Trump and doesn't want to plead the fifth yet until something like a trial for him or someone else actually happens. Personally, I think Bannon's non-testimony isn't indicative of anything. He was always skeptical on the Russians by all accounts, he's pretty isolationist and untrusting of Non-Americans, and even if he has stuff it's unlikely to be stuff that Mueller isn't already getting from Papadapa or Flynn isn't already working with him on. I mean he probably knows something that Mueller can't prove, doesn't have access to, or doesn't know about but unless he's actually guilty of something he has no reason to rat him out other than being a good citizen, and he genuinely likes Trump. So to me it's largely a non-story with a potential to be a story in a few months time.

bladefdand this one proves another part of the Steele dossier to be true Some of the stuff about Hillary 4 prison and the lock her up posts from the indictments is really interesting because according to the indictments that started in April, and the earliest I can find evidence of it from the campaign happening was Flynn's GOP convention speech in July.

I haven't read all of it just because it's heavily redacted so I just read the politico, nbc news, etc reports on it.

OutRosez Check the responses - he writes an analytical essay on Daniel situation using tweets. I don't understand all of the law concepts or terms, but essentially Daniels' stuff is a scandal out of the bag with no way back in. Trump/his lawyer illegally paid off Daniels then lied about it to cover it up. If Trump sues to enforce the NDA then everything comes out in discovery including text messages, emails, sexual scandalous images and Stormy's sexual story everywhere with details, such as horny Trump running around the hotel room in his underwear chasing after her to have coitus with her. If Trump does nothing then Daniels and his lawyer are in process of breaching the so-called NDA, and it all comes out. Trump can sue at that point, but he would have to testify in court that he did sign the NDA (I don't think he would testify bc he would have to admit in court of law to the relationship with Stormy while married to Melania). If Trump lies saying he didn't sign the NDA then his lawyer would have to admit he did & paid for it, BUT lawyer gets in trouble for unreported campaign contribution to Trump so he would self-incriminate himself & also be disbarred as a lawyer for not telling his client, Trump, about the NDA agreement. His lawyer won't lie under oath out of goodwill for Trump. Regardless of what happens, the details come out. Looks like Trump is in a lose-lose situation lol. Cat's out of the bag.

Special election time! In 24 hours a hot district (PA-18) is going to the polls. Why's it a big deal? It's another special election, which is a barometer of how the country is feeling, in all of the special elections so far the Democrats have outperformed what they did in November 16. This special election is happening because (R) Tim Murphy resigned after cheating on his wife. Mittens and Trump won this district easily by around 20 points each. But in a Democrat environment, this seat matters a lot. (D) Lamb is predicted to win by a few points, but as usual special elections polls aren't always great. They're often wrong, especially in House seats. But there's a few things that matter more than what the media is telling you. Here's a 538 link1st: This is a big seat because if the Democrats win it now, they logically should win it in the fall and we'll be back here for the 17th and 18th districts, two of the big districts in the map redrawing that should have a great shot at going blue in November. 22 seats to win the House, get one now and your task becomes a lot easier. 2nd: This is a safely red district. Mittens and Trump won it easily and handedly. Republicans have won it 8 times. The fact its competitive is saying something. It has major Bellwether potential. 3rd: Republicans kind of abandoned Saccone recently but are coming back to himAnd finally: The steelworkers are working to get Lamb elected If Trump starts losing the 40-60 year old rust belt worker demographic he's fucked, and the Republicans are fucked in November. His tariffs may have done him in at the exact wrong time, or it may wind up not mattering. We'll find out soon enough though.
