don't know if this is unpopular exactly but there are very few female rappers i can take seriously. the only ones are:
lil kim (not as much anymore)
nicki minaj
missy elliot
remy ma
think im missing one more but i can't remember it right now

I don't know if it is unpopular seeing as it is widely listend to. But among music purist pop music that is aimed to the masses is heavily hated on. But I don't mind just turning on my radio and listening to whatever is on at the mainstream radio channels. Easy to roll down your window and bob your head to.

soul is the best rapper in tde and has been for a while
quavo has the best melodies and hooks out of the migos but is the weakest rapper. and he def shouldn't go solo. none of them should. they all need each other
on the same note, swae lee shouldn't go solo either and jimmy is a better rapper
especially with the invention of (rap)genius.com - let's be honest...who uses it for any genre other than rap? - no one really analyzes or pays attention to substance of lyrics unless they're being shoved in ur face so much that it becomes preachy/corny. either that or people over-analyze shit (see: all my friends are deeeeaaad!)

Definitely his most "pop"/ mainstream hip-hop sound. Overly Dedicated was good and easy to get into as well. Couldn't really get into "good kid" or "to pimp a butterfly," which are considered his two best work. |
