I think this will be Steph's peak season (because, my god, how much better could he seriously get?), but I also think if the Warriors stay healthy and keep their core together they will challenge 70+ games for another two seasons.
Should be interesting to see if Steph can three-peat, a feat only matched by Wilt and Bird. Even if Steph takes a slight drop off the next couple seasons, LeBron's already declining and based on this season, it's clear he sees the importance of resting in the regular season. Dude has logged so many minutes over his career already and he's looking at 32 and 33 years old over the next two seasons. Look at all the great wings (MJ, Kobe, Bird, BigO, Pip) and that's right at the end of their prime, give or take a year. Then maybe Durant leaves OKC. If he doesn't, I can't see Durant winning another or Westbrook winning one so as long as they are still teammates. After those three, who else could legitimately challenge, let's say a 27/5/4 player shooting ~50/40/90 on a 70 win team? Maybe Leonard. You can't convince me the Spurs will stay this good after Duncan and Ginobili retire, or should retire. Duncan looks like he should. Then guys like Lillard, maybe KAT, Davis, and Boogie seem like they will be putting up big numbers on bad to slightly above average teams in this two year window.
Other than the wildcard of Durant leaving OKC or Steph taking an unexpected major stepback from this season (or godforbid injuries), I think he could potentially win four straight. It helps that he's a media darling as well as everyone in their right mind seeing a significant gap between Steph and his other highly touted teammates. There's no, Klay or Green will steal Steph's votes arguments like there is with Durant and Westbrook.
