Dejounte Murray played in his first summer league game last night. I really really liked what I saw. His jumper is suspect, but he is NBA ready. I hope he gets some pretty good rotation minutes during the season

That's the dilemma, they don't have anyone. Dejounte Murray could evolve but it would take at least 3 years. Patty is better than Parker but he might be better off giving the Spurs life off of the bench. The Spurs have started Patty before and they looked really good. His PG skills are average but Kawhi can help shoulder that load now. I think the Spurs are one of the only teams he'd be able to start on just because of how much they could use his scoring in the first quarter. Lately they've been falling behind early in games due to that lack of scoring from the starters. |
