Well, Leafs started with a bang. Auston Matthews netted 4 goals in his first official NHL game!  Leafs still lost in OT though  Connor McDavid is expected to have monster season as well. Oilers is now his team since he is now the youngest captain in NHL history and the team has dumped its former #1 picks, Taylor Hall and Nail Yakupov, already. He will be as good or even better than Sid for sure. |

Every game where Matthews had at least one point, the Leafs lost.

Somehow John Tortorella's Columbus BlueJackets is the hottest team in NHL, 10 wins in a row and going.
They will face the toughest test in Penguins tonight though.

I gave basically no fucks about the NHL this season. Really dislike league leadership, have for a while, and I feel that the other major NA sports leagues are all trying to improve their respective games while the NHL does nothing and gives franchises to meme cities like Las Vegas. Fuck the NHL.
