For Team USA, once again the favorite to win it all no matter how the team will be built, here is the list of who's in and out so far:
OUT: - Steph Curry (knee and ankle injuries) - Lamacus Aldridge (finger injury) - Anthony Davis (knee injury) - Blake Griffin (quad injury) - Chris Paul (rest) - John Wall (knee injuries) - Kobe Bryant (retired, not chosen during the first finalists)
IN (those who has confirmed they want to be in): - Harrison Barnes - Jimmy Butler - Boogie Cousins - Paul George - Draymond Green
There are some others like LeBron, Klay, Melo etc. who are still unsure. Zika virus scare is one of the biggest factors right now.

Russell Westbrook has officially confirmed he is out for the Olympics.
The more big-named players opt out, the better chances for every other teams like Spain or Lithuania are.

It seems like this is the year where Team USA will not bring the absolute best to the show.
Still, other teams may not bring their own best as well due to Brazil's shitty dealing with Zeka virus, among other problems. But it should sure be the best chance ever to have the new champion in the almost last two decades.

Erryone dropping out Also lmao at team canada starting The Warden Joel Anthony and hoping for gold Canada will likely have "Punjabi Nightmare" Sim Bhullar with the team as well. Also, many stars of other teams are dropping out as well. Pau is considering dropping out of Spain. Bogut is now definitely out after the knee injury in game #5 as well.

Kyle Lowry, Demar DeRozan, Kevin Durant, Paul George, Draymond Green, Carmelo Anthony, DeMarcus Cousins, Jimmy Butler, Klay Thompson, DeAndre Jordan
This looks strong enough to win golds already.

France, Spain and Lithuania are top contenders to beat Team USA, and France just got trashed by Australia.

Croatia upset Spain! Those 2-tier teams just don't look great enough to have any chance to beat Team USA. On the other hand, Team USA was rock-paper-scissoring to decide who will shoot personal fouls in a real game

The thing about Team USA is that they have to be motivated enough from top to bottom. This team slacks off way too much.
Other teams can play their hearts out but they don't have depth as good as USA, but giving that above there should be at least one big upset, hopefully.
