The first ever team to overcome 1-3 to win the championship in NBA Final.
Beating the team that just broke the best regular season record.
Against All Odds.

Wow
I posted in the BTE back during game 3 about how this series might turn out like 2010 and 2013. Where one team doesn't have a clear cut MVP and the other team did. The team with the clear cut MVP won both of those. Now make it 3.

At the end, Kyrie is the edge Cavs have been looking for. Steph hasn't been the same since the wrist injury, and Klay and Dray were not enough.

If I'm the Warriors, I'm looking back on Kerr putting in Ezeli midway through the 4th, Iggy's two bricked free throws, and just that 4-5 minute span of no one being able to make a shot. The latter is what you get hca for.
And this was a career definer for LeBron. He can shit the bed the rest of his career and he's cemented his legacy. Good for him.

I think the interesting sub-plot is what happens with GS. They were on their way to building a dynasty. Shit like this tears you down.
Someone is still going to overpay Barnes and is GS willing to go over the luxury to match? You lose him and you lose some of the key components from your team. Assuming no FA replacement (Durant, or whatever), Iggy as a 6th man is a real x factor. Then no "death lineup", lose your sixth man, some depth, some defensive versatility (big with the way GS switches everything) and some floor spacing. In addition to the complexity of team building. I don't think Barnes is all that good, or even valuable, but there's always a trickle down when you lose a positive piece to a team that's been and grown together for a long time by pro sports standards.
On the flip side, maybe GS really pushes for Durant now. After this sort of collapse and I guess Barnes was the weak link of the group. Although you can make an argument that Curry, the MVP, getting outplayed by Kyrie was the biggest factor in the series. GS losing takes some pressure off Durant. He's still ring chasing, tho I think there's a difference between joining a 73 win loser vs 73 win b2b team.

He's still ring chasing, tho I think there's a difference between joining a 73 win loser vs 73 win b2b team. They don't need a Durant. They need a Barnes replacement (not an equivalent, just something to take his place in the lineup) and they need a big-player big. I think the warriors should play hard for Joakim Noah, however they can. He's the perfect player for the team and a top tier competitor. If the Warriors want to remain at the level they're at, I think that's the move for them. And man Curry... what a letdown. Played ass in these playoffs. Didn't exactly choke, just wasn't good. Don't know what he does next, to add to his game. He'll still perform at a high level, it's gonna be interesting to see if he can add anything to his game. Because for me it seems like he's at his peak, and its downhill once that kicks in. Really disappointed in him. Showed hard why he isn't on the level of someone like Lebron James or a Russell Westbrooke, even a Kevin Durant. Just a tier below. Anyone else feel that?

I might be wrong. I probably am. Maybe too much in the moment right now. Gut feeling with Curry says you're seeing his physical limitations. People have been playing up the, he looks like you and me, he's not MJ/LBJ/Wilt athletic, and he's dominating stuff. And while there's no doubt he's a great player. I think absolutely the right choice for MVP the last two seasons. I think you can see where his limitations are because he's not some freak physical specimen and/or especially possessing great size and tools.
He's top tier skilled. Like if I'm making a starting 5 alltime of purely skilled players, Curry is probably my PG. I think his athleticism is good. Underrated. His dexterity is second to none, same with his hand-eye coordination, I'd say moderately quick (tho not great for his position), good body control, changes speed very well, and crazy endurance... All that is fine until he breaks down the defense with those special skills and LBJ flies from behind to pin his shot like what happened once in the fourth (and like four other times in the Finals). There's a reason why scouts become enamored with measurables.

Well... where do I start? Disappointed obviously since I wanted Warriors to repeat. Already see people saying Warriors win last year was fluke because Cavs had no Kyrie/Love. Whatever. Curry disappointed me in his game when they called his number. Only Draymond showed up.
LeBron dominated this one. Kyrie was on fire. There is nothing I can say about LeBron after that comeback and triple double when they needed him.
GSW -I think Barnes is not returning and neither is Ezeli most likely. Let them go; both crumbled in finals -Bogut will be back but they need a better backup center. Let Ezeli go. -I don't know where Curry goes from here. He collapsed under pressure. He is not ice cold in playoffs when they need him most. Maybe he can take on yoga or something to stay calm under pressure. Same with Klay but thing with him is he always shows up defensively and is literally iron man, Curry relies more on offense
Cavs -they should trade Kevin Love for lots of pieces in return but they probably won't -Keep everyone else intact. Nothing else needs to change really.

4 MVPs 3 Finals MVP 3 Rings
within those 10 hardware there were: Two seasons with rings/MVP/Finals MVP (back-to-back) 3 titles/3 FMVP in 5 seasons. 4 MVPs in 5 seasons
All together within 2009-2016 (8 seasons)
I think only Jordan has a case over that in a span of 8 years.

Warriors 9 loses in 6 months of regular season. 9 loses in 2 months of playoffs. :O Just goes to show you that your weaknesses are exposed greatly when your opponent knows it just needs to study you for days and that there is the same amount of breaks/days off after game 1

Losing Bogut most definitely hurt them. He would have been replacing ezeli's minutes. Even if Bogut is shown to be a net negative, his iq is vastly better and he has to be guarded because of his passing
