Just goes to show you that your weaknesses are exposed greatly when your opponent knows it just needs to study you for days and that there is the same amount of breaks/days off after game 1 and the Warriors nice depth doesn't matter when opponents can play their best players more in the playoffs Exactly. In fact, it would be worse in some scenarios where the defending team has a nice depth because the backup would be going against the star player

I would have gone with the following in bulk of 4th quarter..
Steph Livingston Klay Iggy Green
Better than Ezeli/Barnes being horrendous all series.

the only thing potentially bad about this result is the league will care even less about the regular season now, we aren't going to see anything like that warriors season again and a ton of those games was really fun and exciting.

Just lost a bet that the Cavs would never win a championship with Lebron, have to literally eat shit. So that's cool.

Yeah, when they tried running 4 plays into varajao in late 3rd Q all resulting in turnovers was when you saw they didn't know how to run an offense anymore.
They got the lead back to close out the 3rd but during those Varajao plays, it took up about 5 minutes. They had to climb back to take that one point lead.
Then in the 4th their offensive struggle continued. Curry took about bunch of awful deep 3's. He only made 1 of them.

Depth can be extremely useful. What happened to those claiming the Warriors were tiring out the Cavs in the first two games? Or what the Spurs did to the Heat a few seasons ago. It's a matter of depth + talent (like GS) against just depth. The Nuggets after Melo left were deep in a not so great way. The Warriors were deep with three All-NBA level players.
I still see the biggest changes in the series as: LeBron took his head out of his ass, Kyrie clearly outplayed Steph, and Green's suspension. In any order because you can argue the suspension (and subsequent LeBron is a cry baby comments) woke up LeBron. Green's suspension also completely killed the Warriors momentum. And Kyrie created his separation from Steph starting from Game 5. Momentum is a helluva thing. I'm not convinced the Cavs were the better team, but once they started to go downhill with the most talented player in the league playing like it...

I feel like this series has forever changed the MVP discussion from now on. It was 3 years ago that LeBron last won an MVP award, yet he is still clearly the best/greatest player on the planet; LeBron knew what he was saying when he questioned Stephen Curry being the league's most valuable player where we all thought he was crazy. I feel like (at least for next year) the MVP will be awarded to someone who will not be recognized as the best player in the game because LeBron shows that he can become that whenever he wants, he just wants to save it for the most important moments of the season. And holy crap, I am still geeking out about this series, I'm just going to rant a list about how awesome it was. LeBron James defeated the back to back (U)MVP who many were declaring - on ISH at least - as the greatest single-season player since MJ, as well as getting revenge on the team who beat him the year before who also happened to be the Greatest Team of All-Time regular-season wise, he also brought a championship to a city that had no titles of any sort for over half a century, transcending the sport of basketball into the real world. They also came back from a 3-1 deficit where teams in the finals were like 0-32, did so on the road where only about 3 teams ever have accomplished that, also forcing the Game 7 after being down 3-1 was something that hadn't been done in about 50 years, Kyrie had a fantastic Wilt-esque 41 in Game 5, LeBron averaged a triple double the last three games of the series handing the Warriors their first 3-game losing streak since 2013, it was also the best Game 7 I have personally ever witnessed, and LeBron delivered on his promise of bringing a title to Cleveland. There's so much more I can say but wow, I am so happy that LeBron pulled it out against that Warriors team, I rooted against Golden State all-year and after taking so much crap from all of my friends I am finally vindicated. Now onto the Olympics, can't wait!

Now onto the Olympics, can't wait! Le's be honest though.. LeBron (who I think played an incredible series) is only hoisting the Larry O' because Kyrie went off in the third then hit a huge shot in the fourth when even Lebron was missing shots... You can't take anything away from Curry's regular season based on the Cavs post season run what Curry did was off the charts insane, like Lebron's finals' series what Curry did is something we'll probably never see again and to try and diminish an individual's accomplishments based on what his team as a whole did in the post season is just goofy both great talents one is just approaching the peak of his career the other is probably at the peak and starting to look at the backside.. both had elite all time seasons in different ways no reason to try and take anything away from either based on a handful of games.. somebody wins somebody loses, doesn't lessen their individual skill sets... if it did we can point out Lebron has had many more crappy post season showings then Steph has SaveSaveSaveSave
