Watched Sophie's Choice recently, and it has one of the strongest hitting scenes I've ever seen. After the film ended I just walked around in a daze. I legitimately questioned why I'd done this to myself and watched this movie. Fantastic all around, and has one of the best performances I've ever seen in a film by young Meryl, but god damn that was strong.
Not going to post the scene because It's a massive spoiler. Watch the film.

The unlikeliest heroes instrumental in the demise of Sauron.. Anyone can be a hero.. powerful scene that wraps up the battle for middle Earth
Hacksaw ridge had inspiring scene but can't find video of it since recent release
I can't think of other recent inspiring scenes I have seen atm..

Power of Unity, of humanity, of democracy and justice.. Not seen The Great Dictator yet but I love this scene (someone edited the scene with modern images/clips I find cool)
