Saw the new Scream recently. Entertaining, but pretty standard slasher. One character really annoyed me and it's the "hey look how meta we are 4th walling this shit" Still a lot better than the recent Halloween movies tho imo.

Did we ever stream poltergeist? I've seen this movie recently but I have no idea when and why I watched it. I just know I watched it with someone else.
I always forget that I watched it too

Been heavily considering shooting some stuff or even getting into film school this year, cinematography path. My dream is to one day shoot a creature feature. Antlers might have been the last cool one I seen that wasn't a tv show or kaiju. Anyone got any other good creature feature recs, new or old?

I've been really into cryptids for a long time. I find Wendigos and skinwalkers to be the most interesting. Witch related stuff is cool too

I think I've seen a good chunk of these aside from the hidden gems. I've only seen jeepers from that list. I'm gonna check the other ones out But back to sharks and deep sea films, I think hammerheads are underutilized. They aren't as terrifying in real life but they are very odd looking. If there isn't a horror movie version of the hammerhead, there should be. Some newer kraken/giant squid/octopus stuff would be neat too

The Meg 2 tried to do this but they didn't feature nearly enough of it. It's crazy how good pirates of the carribean 2 did the kraken and there hasn't been another attempt at it

i watched this last night. It was an average modern day slasher. Some pretty unique kills. 6.6/10
