I don't know how many people have seen this series but if you haven't, watch it. One of the best documentary series I've ever seen and definitely one of my all-time favourites. Unfortunately it was taken off of Netflix recently but I think it's all available for free on YouTube.

Isn't this the same Ken Burns who does the Civil War for US documentary? That was top notch.

Yeah, he has a whole bunch have of documentaries on a variety of subjects. I've heard that he does one on Jazz that is fantastic.

It's a big time commitment (the series is 20+ hours) but it really is amazing.
