Agreed, waiting until Spring Training and then ranting is ridiculous. Seems like more and more modern players are accepting that side of the game anyway. But it won't stop some oldschool players and coaches to respond the good ol' ways as well. This subject will heat up during the season for sure, at least during Jays vs Rangers series. True. This seems to be happening in damn near every sport though, oldschool clashing with the way professional sports are going generally (celebrations becoming much more common imo).

Nick Swisher is now available. Atlanta Braves have granted him an unconditional release today.

I was watching a video of Joey Votto batting, every commentator always has to bring up how they think he should stop taking walks. Their stupidity causes me physical pain.

Dodgers up 15-0, bottom of the 9th, and they won't switch to the Cubs-Angels until this ends. I think it's a safe assumption that the game is over.

Blue Jays reactions to that call are hilarious. It's a new rule so I get being upset, but it's not like what Bautista did wasn't dirty as fuck anyway.

Maeda, 6 shutout innings, and a home run, first ever pitcher to hit a home run in his debut since 1990.

Arrieta with the first no-hitter of the season Not to mention 16 runs generated by the Cubs.

Steve NashGave it a shot, can't watch this team as long as Tex and CC are on the roster. The only fun thing to watch about the Yankees this year is their bullpen after Chapman returns from suspension. Just one more year (iirc) until those contracts are gone though! Jays are already blowing games and losing by a run with regularity, the AL East has been generally disappointing so far. If Baltimore wins the division I'll be so shook.

Oh crap. This might run deep. His career is effectively over. He's ineligible for the playoffs and was already off to a rough start.

He already appealed, that's why news took to so long to come out. Pillar said he's known for a month, about the time when the positive test happened, but the suspension/news breaking was delayed by Colabello's appeal.

Love seeing the ChiSox playing so well this year. These FA and trade additions have already paid good dividends.
Latos has been unreal so far.

I was surprised that he fell off so hard in Miami/LA (though injuries were a part of that iirc), his FIP stayed low throughout his time with Miami and he was a prime candidate for a bounce back season.
