Instead of doing individual threads for each week, I will do one per month. I often forget from week-to-week.
Week 9 was truly fun as hell!!
Week 9 highlights: -giants/philly was awesome. I watched most of this game while switching back and forth from jets/dolphins. Philly looks very much vulnerable now as if other teams have figured them out. Philly defense didn't look very good 2nd week in a row after a great start. Wentz is back down to Earth after a great start.. Giants are looking better and better as weeks go by. OBJ looks like he is back!
-Cowboys with yet another dominating performance. They are back to almost full strength and look scary good on offense. They HAVE to bench Romo - Prescott is just too good to be screwing around with the chemistry.
-Minnesota is back down to Earth. Offensively, they look horrendous. That defense cannot carry the team each and every week. It has taken a toll on them. If they continue this, they are finished.. They need some consistency on offense. No running game is a huge problem..
-San Diego's Melvin Gordon is on a TEAR!!! I have him in 2 of my fantasy teams so I watched parts of this game. He is just so damn good. San Diego has way too many injuries that it is limiting their ceiling. They won't make playoffs tbh. Gordon's monstrous season and Rivers' another prime year (one of his last prime seasons) sadly going down the drain.
-Colts/GB was simply marvelous! GB doesn't look right but Andrew Luck and the Colts showed up big time. Receiver Moncrief being back is huge as it gives more passing options. As a Colts fan, I was just ecstatic! I am so proud of these guys. GO INDY!! =]
-Oakland/Denver was an extremely fun game. Felt so much like an old school behind-the-shed beat down the Raiders gave Denver lol. This was the first time I watched the Raiders play this season. These guys are destined for greatness. Great QB in Derek Carr that reminds me very much of Aaron Rodgers, great receiving corps that reminds me a bit of Peyton Manning when he had Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne duo, running game is scary good thanks to their massive o-line. Even using 6 men on their o-line, huh? You don't see that too often, but it is working. Carr also has VERY quick release. Literally 2 seconds or less every time - Aaron Rodgers-esque. Denver offense looked absolutely abysmal.. Couldn't even get a running game going with how Oakland defense was rolling.
Very good week overall!

OutRosez @teeesskay Who would have thought the lions would be contending to win their division this late in the year. Great win against the vikings, the colts also helped to.

Thay colts win was so big. Lions have two very winnable games coming off their bye at Jacksonville and at home against the vikes on Thanksgiving.

Season is only halfway finished.

Season is only halfway finished. Rodgers has been terrible. Homie He is Aaron Rodgers. Still has 3rd most TDs in nfl and only 4 interceptions. His passer rating 96 - excluding qbs with less than 100 completions, his passer rating is 10th overall this season. 14th overall on passing yards. Rodgers terrible season is better than majority of QBs in nfl history. Homie. Let the man get a good momentum-shift win, and he is off to the races. 8 games left. Lets see what he is made off.

I'm definitely taking this season's Rodgers over 51% of QBs in nfl history. Minimum. Maybe 65%.

How is that impressive? He's better than historical average? At his absolute worst, Rodgers is still better than 65% of QBs at their best in nfl history. There is my point. Remember, he still has 8 more games left.

Brady is better than Matt Ryan.

Brady is better than Matt Ryan. Not this season as of yet. Matt Ryan is MVP so far. Without Brady, Patriots were 3-1 using backup QBs. Brady has to go 10-2 to be an upgrade over what the team did without him. If Falcons end up with better or same record, then Ryan deserves MVP.

Yawn. New England was shut out by Buffalo without Brady. Matt Ryan had a solid start but he didn't do nearly enough to make himself a front runner, especially in light of what Brady has done in his 4 games back.

What's more, MVP and best QB aren't the same thing. Tom Brady is the best QB right now and he's an easy MVP if the pace he's on continues.

Matt Ryan is current MVP but Brady is better. Of he wins out at even close to this pace he should be a unanimous MVP

I think Ryan's Week 8, and especially Week 9, did a lot for him. Before that, I think that he had a strong start but a few meh weeks, enough so that there wasn't a clear cut MVP candidate on Brady's return.

Matt Ryan is current MVP but Brady is better. Of he wins out at even close to this pace he should be a unanimous MVP Nobody sustains the pace Brady is at for 12 weeks straight. Watch and see. If I'm wrong and Brady goes 10-2 or better, I will use an avy of Steve Nash's choosing for a whole month.
