@iamoutbreak OutRosezlet's discuss this homecoming here without fear of spoilers what is your opinion on the MJ reveal? did you like the villain? where does this rank in your marvel films? was it better than logan or wonder woman? mj reveal? I thought everyone knew she was mj already. Vulture was good not the best marvel villian but the best spiderman one. Im glad they didnt make it about parkers uncle or parents or any rehashed shit again and vulture seemed more human and less comic book evil. Logan was much better wonder woman was abit worse. I dont have an overall ranking of mcu movies but i liked it more than the most of avengers and cap america movies. Deadpool guardians dr strange were better off the top of my head.

Liked Spider-Man but it doesn't break my top 10 comic book movies list. Might have to watch it again but I can probably think of 10 better off the top of my head

I liked JL, I don't think it was good, at least not Avengers good. A little too much CG for the fights, fights have no tandem combos, humor was hit and miss, and some other gripes.
Why is Batman being so careless about his identity and security? Why doesn't Batman have a real Supes contingency plan like idk, Kryptonite?! How is it that the bad guy can't detect the third cube until it was out of the box?

{Spoiler infinity war}felt like dbz
some looming presence that is warned about. the z fighters (avengers) are scattered around
two strong henchman appear before the big baddie
thor plays a goofy and likable protagonist. is weakened from battle and comes back stronger with new powers. He's goku. Got a big ovation in the theatre lol
thanos is a lot deeper than any dbz villain but serves aesthetically the same purpose of being some world destroying force that the world needs to fend off
bunch of characters seemingly dying and tales of other characters coming back to life
people being healed and taken in (bucky)
some dude roaming the universe looking for shiny objects to get his wish
the list goes on and on
i'm high

The Rosez Review: There be spoilers I think it did its job well enough. Tons of action balanced with strong actions from the characters we've grown to love over the last decade. We saw Witch admit she cares deeply for Vision and how they feel about each other, only to have to deal with having to kill the android man she loves, and then watch as he comes back only to die again, before finally dying herself RIP. Tony having to conquer his fear of Thanos and how he's felt for the last 6 years. The Hulk being afraid after getting his ass kicked (more on this later). Groot go from mature teen tree to helpful adolescent tree to ash, RIP. Tony almost grow up enough to call Cap and admit he's wrong. Strange weirdly becoming less self-absorbed and willing to trade the certain destruction of the universe in exchange for the potential for Tony to live a bit longer or a lot longer depending on which side of the 50 he's on. All of that is great and the movie shined in those sequences, but those aren't the Russos strengths. They're great at action scenes, not character actions or plot actions, and the movie mostly had those same feelings. Every action scene Thor's magnificent return, to Thanos fighting on Titan, to Cap defending Witch and Vision, etc. All worked. Splendidly even. Like best action scenes they've done and certainly the best action scenes in a comic book movie probably ever. You really can't put enough praise on that. Especially when we see Cap struggling to fight Thanos and Thanos' reaction as he put up valiant effort before getting bitch slapped. But with that said the movie fell short for me in the emotional scenes aside from Brolin's Thanos ones. So basically the non-Gamora featured ones. Brolin knocked it out of the park and Marvel had a great villain which is simultaneously surprising and unsurprising since we've had six years of this guy kind of lurking around the universe that we sort of but didn't really see with no character exploration. BUT WAIT A GODDAMN SECOND!!! Why did he need Dinklage to make the Gauntlet!?!?! Remember how badass this scene was: So great Hela says the one in the vault is fake (in Ragnarok), and so Thanos takes the other hand's gauntlet to Dinklage to have him make a real one? based off of a fake one ? Did Thanos think it was legit until then? If so how did he know that Strange faked him out initially on Titan? Seems weird to me that he doesn't really know what a fake gauntlet would look like but simultaneously knows what a fake stone is. BUT!!! That opens up a whole new box of worms!!! Because Thanos had it made after Asgard had been destroyed but Asgard was destroyed recently and we know Age of Ultron takes place years before Asgard is destroyed.....So he just decided to bebop over to the star at a completely random point in time YEARS after he originally stole the gauntlet, have it made off of a fake model, then decided to go fuck with Thor and Loki real quick exactly at the same time Asgard was dying/moments after its collapse? Okay Marvel. Which is why they needed someone, how do I say....nerdier to handle the writing. Someone who understands how to do a deeply emotional scene, someone who understands comics, actions, time, continuity, and I don't know....exposition? pixel.nymag.com/imgs/daily/vulture/2015/04/13/13-joss-whedon-avengers.w529.h352.jpgAlright alright enough with the negatives on that. I enjoyed the representation of every character. I felt like everyone of them was written and portrayed the same way they have been previously which is hard to do in a cast of dozens of unique heroes, especially ones meeting each other for the first time. I really liked the girl power fight scene in Wakanda. I even enjoyed the most badass spider-man suit ever. I felt like they nailed the tearful goodbyes www.reactiongifs.com/r/2013/06/leaving.gif the action was great, the CGI was on point, Brolin deserves massive props for nailing the character he basically had done for like 40 seconds before, and the Russos really nailed his portrayal and how utilitarian he is in his methods, and how "fair" the 50/50 is in his quest for balance. It was nice. He seemed a bit remorseful when he needed to but still dedicated to the cause. Random moments worth mentioning on their own merit for things I liked: Red Skull! "I am Steve Rogers" Wakanda Forever Rocket and Thor's relationship. Bye Bye Loki Anything involving Tony and Peter The Guardians stuff, although Knowhere was kinda weird. But the goodbye wave from the collector was cool. Scaredy cat Hulk Black Widow being cool WAKANDA FOREVER!!!!!! The potential of Shuri wearing the suit in Avengers 4 (plz god) Star-Lord being jealous of Thor Gamora growing to like Star-Lord more openly, and the I love you. Random moments worth mentioning but not really explaining I didn't like: Motherf- Captain Marvel tease, Y U NO SHOW HER SUITED UP AND ONLY PAGE HER!!!! Actually I'ma hop on my pedestal for a quick tick, we really gonna have her show up in Avengers 4 as a bail out device to beat Thanos? yikes, enjoy the feedback from Men's Rights Activists lol. Boy you better nail that movie or your ass is grass. Aunt Robin No reconciliation with Cap and Tony, or use it as the basis they fail to defeat Thanos at least. COME ON!!!! Scarjo as a blonde Star-Lord not saying "I know" when Gamora says I love you. If you're gonna do forced comedy in dramatic scenes (i.e. the scene where he promises to kill her Drax kills the moment, and I was literally thinking how cool it was they were just gonna keep the tension and drama before I heard the crunch) DO THE STAR WARS REFERENCE GODDAMMIT!!! -Drax ruining my romance scene And yet in spite of all these complaints, I'd still give it a perfect 6/6 Infinity Stones.

I agree with you, they better not fuck up this Captain Marvel angle. I'm hoping they can somehow bring in Silver Surfer for the next movie. Have two heavy hitters (Warlock and SS) against Thanos.

Oh yeah, as soon as the movie ended, the theater erupted into chatter. People couldn't believe what they saw. Their reaction was like Undertaker losing in Wrestlemania (the first time). After my friends and I spoke, I just sat back and soaked in the people freaking out. One of the best movie experiences I've ever witnessed.

See, that's what I was expecting as well. Warlock. It makes more sense and you don't run into the sexism issues that you know is gonna pop up Maybe Nebula and Tony find his cocoon or something on Titan? I feel like they've gotta bring him in, but it really doesn't seem like they're going to do it. I just think it's really weird how they did that. That's not how I would have introduced her, and I think how they did that is a bad idea. Conspiracy Rosez suspects that the green suit was actually their initial plan and that was gonna be surprise cameo footage. Really not sure why they didn't use it as an opportunity to just show us the real costume and make up for the garbage shit we've seen so far, since we're probably gonna see that from papparzzis anyway. I doubt it, the deal supposedly isn't gonna be done until next spring/summer. Not a lot of time to bring in SS for reshoots. Only way that would happen is if Fox just let them use him anyway. That reminds me, I loved the Heimdall/Banner is Silver Surfer thing. That was really fucking incredibly smart of them to do.

Best Goddamn Superhero movie I have ever seen, with the best comicbook character ever portrayed in cinema: Thanos. -Standing Ovation- For a second I read that as Thanos was the best portrayal of a comic book character ever, not Thanos is the best comic book character ever and they portrayed him correctly. I was like Boogie, do we need to have a talk? About the experience part: That was definitely up there for me. There was like 30 people in my showing, so obviously I didn't get it as well as you but the general feeling of shock and awe was so prevalent throughout the theatre. People were just like...that's...it? But not in a bad way. It was like I just watched it and now I have to wait till next May for the epic conclusion? I guess people forgot it was two parts all along and they just changed the name lol. So much shock and amazement. People legit cried when Spidey faded. People were like how are they gonna come back? Where did they go? How? What is Thanos feeling? That feeling was so great. It wasn't as good as TFA when everyone laughed, cried, and probably smiled at the correct times but damn it was fucking up there. then people: WHO DAT SYMBOL ON THE PAGER FOR!?!?!?!!? I was all smh, that's obvs Cap Marvel you bitches.

In the end credits scene for Guardians, we see Warlock's cocoon is already hatched during the stupid Howard the Duck cameo. AND THERE HAS BEEN NO MENTION OF HIM AGAIN!
