Check out the new 52 X-men series too. Rose got me into it and I had a blast reading them.
Plus, if you haven't checked out any Deadpool, take a look of Deadpool and Cable series. Vol.1 is kind of meh, but after that, Deadpool's humor really stands out.

I recently downloaded some of the new 52 stuff, haven't read anything in ages so I figured that would be a good place to start again.

Haven't read too many, but I do listen to "Marvel Explained" on Youtube quite a bit. I'm a sucker though for comics and movies that feature good villains and massive battles. I love mainly reading the ways the Avengers deal with Ultron, my favorite being when he's so powerful, they just shoot him into outter-space. At least that's what I've heard, gotta research the actual comic again

Kinda recently started reading through some of the big Batman comics.
So far I've read: -The Killing Joke -Long Halloween/Dark Victory -Hush -Death of the Family -Death in the Family
And I'm currently on Court of Owls, with City of Owls queued up after that. I've always been a huge batman/superhero fan in general, just never got into reading comics until recently. The artistry on some of the comics is insane...better at storytelling than some of the text (especially in Long Halloween and Dark Victory).

You should try some non super hero stuff too like y: the last man, preacher, sandman, walking dead etc Yeah, I've been wanting to branch out into non-superhero comics, just haven't really known where to start/ have had a lot of stuff on my to-read list lately. I've only heard of TWD out of the few you mentioned, what do you like about the others?

Any specific new 52 comics I should start with? Or anything else you'd suggest?
The last comics I read were some old Flash ones.

Any specific new 52 comics I should start with? Or anything else you'd suggest? The last comics I read were some old Flash ones. Anything by Geoff Johns is great. Aqua man 01-25 (minus #20), the Justice League 1-50, And I think he did some of the Flash run you're reading. He did a really cool albeit different one shot Batman called Batman Earth One. Superman is different in this universe and worth a look at. The Wonder Woman series is alright if you're into greek mythology. Flash is good but takes a while to get there. Death of the Family was a really amazing run. All the Batman stuff period that I've read so far in the new 52 is good. The first 20ish issues of Batgirl are nice too.

Outbreak, I love the MTMTE series. I stopped reading it a few months ago, but it's definitely an enjoyable series.

Gotta start reading comics. If you want suggestions let us know. I'm really liking usagi yojimbo atm. Once you get over the fact he's a rabbit it's got some really good stories drawing on japanese history and legends. Wasn't he a guest character on Ninja Turtles?

Current runs of Vision and Doctor Strange are really good. Both have different takes on the characters, so check em out even if you think those books aren't your taste. They are both around half a dozen issues in so shouldn't take much to catch up.
