Reading is for nerds. Just watch the movie so you don't have to visualize what is happening. Just a way better and engaging experience.

Wait, we can post erotica in here? Things can turn real fast if i get a ... Depends. It is thin ice. It is not technically nudity because there is nothing to visually see, but you read it in your mind I guess it is up to the admins. I would say it depends on the genre. Nothing over the top like animalia or incest or something messed up. Regardless, I will not post more stories because there may be people under 16 here.

Post erotica for sure. It's NSFW but no one can tell and they think you're being productive

If you're going to post erotica, imo it's better to link to it than post it directly...but I doubt it really matters as far as what we're allowed to host, more trying to look out for people who may be browsing at work.

Hey guys, yesterday I read Take you home, which is a fan story of final fantasy 7 of Cloud/Tifa, and I liked it very much. I became teary-eyed at a few parts. Normal or not normal? That never happens for me, but it did this time. I guess I see a lot of myself in that story description of Cloud. Not much self-esteem, going day-by-day, not caring, drifting solo usually, nerd, outcast, just a weird dude. I guess that is me

Haven't really found many, apart from a Lulu-Tidus one a while ago. Did you ever play FF13?

Played 6 to 12. I like decent stories that inspire and enter the audience into a world of fantasy. The best story was ff10 but overall game-wise, ff7 was my favorite.

Suguru101 Here's a decent ffx fan fiction: All Bets Are Off .. I'm only 3 chapters in so far but I like it. Yuna is a bit out of character though and bit slutty. Tidus/Wakka/Rikku/Lulu seems to be in character though. edit 2 hours later: I'm on chapter 7. I like the character development but romance drama turns me off. Too many love triangles. Needs more story, maybe some action.

The best story was ff10 but overall game-wise, ff7 was my favorite. I have heard so many mixed opinions about FF13. The characters don't seem that great apart from Fang and Lightning, but the world and the gameplay seem interesting. I also like fantasy and i really value immersion on video games. One of the reasons Dragon Quest 8 is my favorite rpg. The art style, dialogue, towns/outside world and story all really combine together to make it happen. I tried FF7, but it was a few years ago. I couldn't really stomach the graphics and the interface. 2d Final Fantasy games have aged so much better.

Eh, I finished reading it. Not worth it as you are just waiting to see Tidus/Yuna work things out. It is a massive tease. I will look for better story..

Currently Reading: Mika does a really good job at incorporating important Roman events into his fictional story of Minutus. Story begins in Antioch, and travels to Rome, Britania, Rome, Corinth, Athens, and probably back to Rome. I've only read 25% of the book so far and it's great. Starts at the end of Caligula's reign, and will most likely see the era of Claudius and Nero. The book is lengthy, but the prose is clear and easy to read. It isn't a wall of text of historical facts like how some historical writers mistakenly do. If you're a history bluff, especially Roman history, you'll have a lot of fun reading this book.

Ive been reading a ton of stuff but I havent finished much. I read mother's night which is fantastic. Into the wild is interesting. Its about a guy who lived in the wild all over the country and how he died in Alaska. Ive often had thoughts about doing the same thing. He was very stupid about it every step of the way though.

Closest I came to a love story was Great Gatsby by Francis Scott Fitzgerald, Romeo and Juliet (both required in middle-school) and for fun maybe Spencerville by Nelson DeMille. The 3rd is not really a love story per say but more suspense/mystery/thriller.. some long-lost love story mixed in there. Maybe some of the fanfiction smut short stories I read were love stories.. like Take you home and Childhood friends

That sounds like a tragedy not a love story....but Ill read it. Ive read so much shit lately. I read a biography of buddha, the bhagavad gita, part of the upanishads, reread of human bondage, fear and loathing in las vegas.....some other stuff too, but I cant recall at the moment. Some indian spiritual books have some great insight. Totally worth reading the Gita IMO. Hits on a very non western form of spirtiality and youll find that buddhism borrows heavily from hindu and other indian spiritual traditions.
