ELO is very reliable (except when you cheat online, or, when you online had a few games) 2400 and above: Senior Master 2200–2399: National Master 2200–2399 plus 300 games above 2200: Original Life Master 2000–2199: Expert 1800–1999: Class A 1600–1799: Class B 1400–1599: Class C 1200–1399: Class D 1000–1199: Class E 800–999: Class F You are only 1 class above me, donny. ;) |

not sure who won but it was between Fap and Timmy, those two were strong players

we had a tournament on ISH back then not sure who won but it was between Fap and Timmy, those two were strong players EDIT: *Faptastrophe and *OhNoTimNoSho Dude complained about me but it took him like 70+ moves to beat me, and I hadn't played for more than a decade back then, which is besides all the stress and pressure I had to deal with. |

dunksby , did you play much chess when you were younger? My dad taught me when I was 5 to have somebody to play against, I stopped playing in HS to attend to more immediate issues like girls and ball. |

Your dad taught you well  I was the exact opposite. I played more chess in HS. I didn't know many kids who would play chess - I asked but they would turn it down as being too boring (idk, I guess they prefer checkers). I was always a nerd, who enjoyed chess, but other kids didn't share my interest in chess (dunno why) so I used to challenge a few of my teachers. I talked fun trash with my teachers lol. This one teacher used to really piss me off at times because he was hard to beat. One time I just flicked chess pieces when I became so frustrated for just 1 moment - completely out of character for me as I'm not a very emotional person. He started laughing and me too lol. I used to play my older cousin too and my great uncle often. I stopped playing a few years ago. Man, this reminds me I had some really cool teachers. Kind of would be weird for me to contact them 10yrs later out of the blue when I never went back to the school to visit or emailed them in so many years. I doubt they would even remember me. |
