Also Yao should have been on there instead of Greg Oden he had more potential that him.

Also Yao should have been on there instead of Greg Oden he had more potential that him. Oden was one of the most dominant players in NCAA history I wouldn't go that far... You can make an argument Russell had a better freshman season at OSU. He just didn't have Conley, Lewis, and Cook to help him out. That title performance against UF's future All-NBA frontcourt was impressive tho. I'd go: Hill > McGrady > Penny > Roy > Oden Hill had the highest peak of the 5 and that peak was high enough to where you can't assume any of the other 4 (except TMac) would match or surpass. That was HOF/potential best player in the NBA peak. TMac explained in the Hill explanation. Penny or Roy is a toss up. I think Penny's upside was a little higher, but it wouldn't shock me at all if Roy had the better, longer, career. Roy's game was made to be a 19/4/4+ for 10+ seasons. Might have been a case of Penny peaking higher with Roy having the better career. Interestingly both were put on teams to succeed early on, had Shaq stayed with Orlando and Oden staying healthy with the natural progression of Batum and Aldridge (if Portland still gets them). Then Oden didn't really show much. Who knows how good he could have become? The other 4 were probably heading to the HOF. That's a large assumption to be made about Oden based off his NBA accomplishments (injured or not), so by default he has to be fifth. Personally, I think he had defensive anchor for a championship team potential. Just don't know...

I wanna say mcgrady because he won the scoring title a couple if times(if I'm correct) and had a couple of top 4 MVP finishes.

T-Mac/Hill>Roy>Oden>Penny
Maybe Oden over Roy, he could have been really really dominant. Not sure.

Grant Hill.
I do think a healthy regular career Oden would've had a similar impact to Alonzo Mourning. He looked THAT good on defense.

Oden was a BEAST in the making. Dude probably would've been a multi time DPOY type anchor, a monster rebounder (13+) and given his power game/explosiveness he could've easily developed into a ~22-23+ ppg type scorer like Dwight did.
I'd pick Grant Hill but Oden could've been the top guy here, just broke down way too early to know.

Could have Oden matched prime/peak Durant ? Or does healthy Oden fit better ?

Gotta say TMac for sure. Hed have a durantesque career with multiple scoring titles, MVP chances and so on, but he was better than KD at his best because he could do so much more than score.

Grant Hill, seeing how good he was at that age with Suns plus Suns' rejuvenation chamber. He would have done a lot better with T-Mac's Magic if he wasn't injured all that time.
