I would put more details into the OP, but the season is almost over. I have a feeling this is going to be a private thread with only Shade and I chatting about Chelsea. Edit: Changed the title of the thread. Discuss any topic whatsoever that takes part of any professional league across the world.

Looking forward to seeing the development of Anthony Martial... France future superstar.
United sucks though. Was a big time Arsenal fan bcz of Thierry Henry when I was a kid.. Don't follow any team now in Pl.

I'd rather if we could just move on to next season already.

^That's freakin insane how fast they rose through the leagues to get to where they're at now.

Do you want me to list all the PL team's in the OP and which posters are a fan of each team?

Premier League probably has a big enough following, but I think for the board an overall "State your team" thread like tsk has in the Handegg forum might be nice as it would include multiple leagues.

Watching this Man U - Man C game. Dislike both teams.

^That's freakin insane how fast they rose through the leagues to get to where they're at now. Good running teams can jump up the leagues very fast. Burton Albion and Fleetwood Town (Vardy's former team) takes only 8 years to leap from non-leagues to League 1. Leicester has had histories in the top flight already. A good infrastructure reconstruction and some money were what they needed and they did.

Awwww I thought we'd have it like the old board where every league is in the same thread.
I like watching the PL but don't have a favorite team. City I follow most but that was because at the time I started watching more domestic leagues I was a fan of Balo, Aguero, Tevez and they all happened to be playing on the same squad.

Too bad this Wolfsburg team won't be in the CL next year, they have such a nice core, a bit surreal thinking Schuerrle, De Bruyne, Lukaku, Salah belonged to Chelsea at some point during the last 3 years.

Don't think Lukaku or Salah have ever played for Wolfsburg. Speaking of De Bruyne and Lukaku, especially De Bruyne, I can't even fathom what Mou was thinking letting these guys go. That's going to bite us in the ass for such a long time. There new youngsters on this Chelsea club though. Even since they've been given the green light to play games, they have been exciting to watch. Hopefully, the new manager doesn't fck with their develop and have them shipped off where they will haunt us in the future.

I wanted to clarify but was too lazy to edit the post out, it was just a random thought that occurred to me and I just put it down. Anyway my point was that Chelsea did everything well up until it came down to dare give these guys a chance. Roman dropped his guard with Mou and gave him too much authority and nobody to check him, not that I hold all those decisions against Mou and the club. For instance I believe letting Schuerrle go was not such a big mistake although I very much like his game. On the other hand, guys like Salah, Lukaku and De Bruyne weren't really taking too much space or time to develop, we are not talking untested and underdeveloped raw talent here.

Yeah, you wrote your thoughts in a single sentence, so that threw me off lol. Schurrle had his moments to shine, even though the majority of his starts were at a winged-striker position. Salah was just a runner. A very fast runner, but when it came to technique, he was very poor. Salah will always be that player that will dominate B-level leagues and makes you wonder why he hasn't signed to a bigger named club, and once he does, you can see his limitations. But Lukaku and De Bruyne were hardly given any chances. The day before the Bayern Munich tilt, Mou promised Lukaku his place was safe on the first-team. Then Lukaku misses a penalty that ended the game and within a few days, he was shipped off to Eventon, and Chelsea went an entire season with Torres "I kick the ball into an empty net 1/10 times" and Eto "My prime is long behind me" as their primary strikes. YET they almost captured the Premiership trophy that season. De Bruyne was injured most of the time, and when he got healthy, he was slow to getting back into shape. Mou wouldn't start him over an in-form Oscar, and DB asked to be transferred. I can't believe we have Oscar over DB at this point. *facepalm*

Bayern Munich since 1990, as for your previous post, I believe that although both De Bruyne and Lukaku wanted out, their issue could have been solved with a bit of finesse and politic that Mou lacks. TBH nobody in their right mind would want to leave Chelsea for Wolfsburg or Everton, but Mou is not the type of guy to reach out to prospects, that's why I blame Roman.

I'm watching West Ham vs Arsenal on mute, while working on my essay. Just saw Carroll score 2 goals within 2 minutes to tie things up heading into half-time. Pretty dope.

Caroll scored his hat-trick to take the lead. West Ham also had two clean goals disallowed. If Arsenal somehow manages to end this game with a tie, they do not deserve it. The refs cannot stop West Ham from running wild.

Arsenal have the refs to thank for that point.
