Feels pretty different compared to anything else heβs done. The horror/mistery factor is there, but Iβm not feeling the characters and performances. Going to keep watching in hopes it picks up. |

Yβall check out Flanaganβs new show? It has more jump scares in the 1st half hour than his two previous shows combined. I was a huge fan of Midnight Mass. There was a few jump scares, not many. But I appreciated how few they were, it made them more worthwhile. Very interesting show. I enjoyed it more than hill house tbh. Is the new show more in line with the halloween season theme? That's how it seems. The main characters are high school/college age looking kids? |

It's fine to be upset about a casting choice, but bullying and hate mail when the show hasn't even come out yet? Why? This has been a very common trend lately. I'm not a fan. Same with the little mermaid trailer. Grown ass adults bitching about a Disney movie casting choice. I'm sure the actors and actresses will be fine but it's annoying. |

Had it been anyone but him on the role the show wouldnβt be half as good. He really was so believably vulnerable and sincere in his beliefs. Even when his actions were atrocious. |
