Session 9 is one of my favorite horror movies. I own a DVD copy. I watched the Possession at my cousin's house. The Hole used to play a TV a lot. I saw intrigued, because I had just watched Bend it like Beckham and had a crush on Keira Knightley. session 9 is very good. I've never seen it mentioned anywhere besides me and my brothers talking about it lol Also, the dybbuk box is supposedly buried in the small town i went to college at. Watched it with a bunch of my friends and really wanted to go looking for it but we couldn't confirm a general location.

@boogiewoogiewam in my amateur opinion, these are the movies on your list I wouldn't consider fit the horror genre: American Psycho (clear cut thriller, but some people intertwine this genre) Terminator (action) Zombieland (action comedy) Predator (action) I am Legend (action thriller) blade (same as terminator) blade 2 (see blade) gremlins (im not peeved about the horror distinction for this series, but i wouldn't classify it myself) gremlins 2 life after beth (granted i only caught the first half. unless it took off completely different than how it started … i just don't see it) AVP (see predator) silent house (more of a drama thriller, but not really mad at a horror classification. was considering adding this but couldn't decide) American Psycho - I would place this as a gory thriller which I categorize under horror. Terminator - Stalker/Slasher. Replace the T1 with Michael Myers or Jason and it's the same plot. With all the twist and all. Predator - It's a furutistic/modern take on the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur. Trapped in a jungle (maze) against an adversary that trumps their combine efforts (Minataur). A female helps discover a way to defeat the beast (native girl) and Thesues uses trickery to win (Arnold). It's a heroic horror story. I am Legend - I'll take it away because the movie peeved me from moving away from the source material. The book is one of my favorite horror stories ever! Fucking Hollywood and having to have a happy ending. Blade 1/2 - Both are horror movies, man. it's action packed, but still a horror. Especially the first one. That one is gory/dark as fck! Gremlins - Maybe on the second one, but the first one is. If Shaun of the Dead is categorized as horror then this movie is too. Life after Beth - The second half becomes fucked up. A dark comedy, but same reason as above. AVP - Okay, I'll agree. This goes off. Silent House - This is a horror movie! I feel like you're just trying too hard to find a weak spot lol

It's really never scary as much as it is shocking Terminator - If you're using this classification, it opens up dozens of sub-genres that could fit be stretched to horror. is transformers a horror movie? Predator - Just because it is a movie about conquering a foe, doesn't make it a horror movie IMO. If the emphasis is on the action, then it should be categorized as action. Blade 1/2 - Similar to American Psycho, but for different reasons. I'm more lenient on this, but I definitely see it as more action. Gremlins - It's just goofy to me. I said I wasn't peeved! Life after Beth - Spoil it for me, I find it really hard to believe this ends up a horror movie Silent House - That cleavage made it feel like a rom-com. I said I was considering adding it!!!

the easiest way I found is you go through the list of movies, open a new tab for everything on that page and then on the left of every movie page, it asks you if you want to add it to a list and you click ur list and you can quickly do this. It's by far the fastest way. I sure hope you're not typing out the movies lol lol I did the same thing. It still took a long time to add all those 300 titles.

Terminator is a full blown slasher movie So is Thanks killing So is war of the world's Doesn't make them horrors I hope u realize we're not the only ones to call terminator a horror movie. What makes alien a horror but not terminator? Scifi/horror is a thing

Scifi/horror is a thing I'm sure I'm in the minority I just think it fits in better as action thriller than horror. I have a hard time putting up tempo movies like terminator in the horror genre.

Alien's atmosphere was totally different from Terminator's.
I'd classify Terminator as an action movie.

Terminator has a pretty dark atmosphere It has classic body horror in the scene where he's repairing himself The terminator, being essentially a supernatural creature, hunting sarah connor especially in the end with the fidgety stop motion effects is creepy
If arnold was a ghost ud say this was a horror movie and the fact that he's a robot is the only thing that makes you question it

@boogiewoogiewam you watched the invitation? what'd you think of it? I thought it was dope! I watched it the night before yesterday. This was a good build up. It felt right. Today, I watched "I Am the Pretty Thing That Live in This House". That was some hot garbage. Slow movie that didn't lead to anything.

TSK's definition of horror is pretty rigid. :/ Not saying I'm right, just my opinion tbh Nah, I feel ya. It's all subjected at the end of the day. To a limit, of course. Like Bride and Prejudice was a horrific attempt at a movie. I'll put it under Horror. It was never intended to be, but it definitely is.
