I think the Knicks have room to facilitate a super team of some sort.

Durant to Toronto. LeBron signs for the minimum, plays the 4, and joins him.

Conley and durant to orlando. Cousins traded for vucevic a top 10 pick and payton. Orlando new eastern powerhouse with Conley Oladipo Durant Gordon Cousins That team is insane, need to bolster the bench up with some shooting and you're in the finals every year

There are a couple of coaches that would be able to control Cousins due to respect, but of course, they all have positions already (Malone on the Nuggets, Poppovich on the Spurs).
The one that is a non-coach that I can see that would be able to control Cousins is Pat Riley.
Nuggets are rebuilding so that's a no go Spurs don't need someone that could potentially ruin chemistry Heat already got Whiteside

I was thinking of those two when I was thinking about this: Stevens might, but in my opinion, his youth is going to hurt him or make it more difficult for Cousins to listen to Stevens that easily. Steven is an amazing coach so his reputation already is out there. Sloan could (as an adviser or something like that of the Utah Jazz), but the Deron Williams situation made it hard for me to say this is a definite. He has a better chance than Stevens of keeping Cousins in check in my opinion. His hard nosed teachings would work since his system would benefit Cousins greatly The other coaches I was thinking about, but hesitated was Rick Carlisle because of the Rondo issue. Before the Rondo issue, I would have said . Stan Van Gundy's system caters to Cousins style of play, but the Howard situation when he was on the Magic is what makes me hesitate

And thats unfortunate because a player with the potential of Cousins should be tearing the league apart.

Melo leaves, his trade kicker finally kicks in this summer so now I think he has the extra financial incentive to bolt. I wouldn't be surprised if Dwight actually went back to Orlando. I think he misses the lack of media attention/blame game shit.
We hear lots of rumors about whether or not Kobe is actually retired/staying retired.

I would immensely enjoy since the two were nearly a perfect match early on in his career, also nobody thought LeBron would return to Cleveland so soon. ballup No, I wouldn't touch that guy even if he were free

What about Derozan? Seems to be the most likely free agent that could move, Lakers are going after him, who else could chase him? New York?

DeRozan can sign a bigger contract if he stays in Toronto, but he still would have a big cost of living as he would have to pay Canada taxes and US taxes. On the flip side, he already has a home there (if not, then I don't know why he hasn't bought one sooner)
The only destination outside of Toronto that I see DeRozan interested in is Lakers. With Kobe planning to retire, that leaves a spot open for SG. He can be the man there. All the media attention will go on him and he gets mad endorsements. LA is damn expensive though, but I don't doubt that he has an LA home already.
