Not melting down in the last 3 minutes of every game due to bad coaching. Plus the sec is weaker this year anyway.

Iowa the great slayers who played exactly none of the quality big ten teams. Ah Michigan state the Tennessee of the Big Ten, except they had one huge play that propelled their season forward. I got nothing for Northwestern. That was just bad lol. Iowa got WAY too big of a bowl game for them though. Michigan State was fine, not a lot of teams beat Saban with prep time. (Plus that spot should have been Michigan's anywayyyy )

vols get overrated every year, it's comical.
fsu is returning most of its starters but there's still question marks. for one, we need another WR to emerge. i'm really hoping it's campbell since he will give us that tall target in the RZ. this team has been missing that since the departure of kelvin benjamin. jimbo seems to be a stickler when it comes to knowing the playbook if you're a WR and fsu runs a full pro style system. at the same time, there comes a point you just have to let them loose and use their athleticism. campbell was a 5* recruit...it's not complicated to run plays for him in the RZ. let him run some go and slant routes. plus, we need to take some pressure off dalvo. he was far and away our best offensive player last year and someone else needs to step up.
secondly, LB corp. thomas needs to stay healthy since smith is now gone. third, QB. i like macguire but he's really nothing more than an average QB. i think francois gives this team the higher ceiling, but he will need to separate himself from sean to get the gig.
it is also concerning that one of fsu's edges, 6'7" featherson actually lost weight. he went from like 223 lbs to 217 lbs. obviously one of the guys that needed to gain weight the most. dude should be drinking nothing but protein shakes. at least it shows you that fsu isn't pumping their players full of roids. anyway, he was one of my x-factors so that was disappointing to hear.
the secondary is going to be plain nasty even with the loss of ramsey. derwin james, white, marshall, mcfadden and andrews will be wreaking havoc back there. oh and they snagged levonate taylor, the #1 corner of this year's class. james has started taking snaps off the edge behind sweat. that is terrifying for opposing QBs.
can't wait for the spring game. if those three things solve themselves, this team is every bit a contender.
clemson will be tough, but i think the losses of lawson and dodd on the edges are going to hurt them more than some people realize. they were two key cogs for them in getting after the QB. i have no idea why miami is even ranked.
dalvin vs. the state of florida:
5 games, 109 car, 907 yards, 8.3 ypc, 9 TD. 10 rec, 104 yards, 1 TD. 5 wins

I know it's pro day and 99% of the players look good on them....but some of the vines of Jalen Ramsey are just fucking amazing. I know there's no chance, but man if the Lions drafted him....

Didn't catch the game, but an SEC team putting up 21 points (in OT) against a small as school is going to get a train run on them when they face the big boys

I think Michigan State finished 3rd in the conference behind michigan and osu. lost too much talent. this big ten is probably better than last year tho, as michigan and osu should be able to compete with anybody.

I actually think Michigan State will finish second. Michigan has a kinda tough year. Wisconsin, @lansing, @iowa, @columbus. Penn State is a home game and may or may not be roadkill. Ohio State has: @oklahoma, @wisconsin, @psu (again roadkill thing), Northwestern, Nebraska, @lansing, and Michigan. MSU has: @nd, Northwestern, Michigan, OSU, and the maybe roadkill PSU game. Definitely the easiest schedule of the three. Even with the losses, MSU has been the best program since like 2010 of the three (OSU most successful obviously), and Ohio State is rebuilding. Even though Michigan and Ohio State are definitely the most talented Big Ten teams they have the toughest schedules of the programs by far, and maybe 2 of the toughest in the country.
