I'm balancing the division with some Rocket League. Which is amazingly fun if you have $20 to spend. I can't recommend it enough. Plus there's a basketball mode coming, and cross platform ability I think between all 3 platforms. Or at the very least console/pc if not console/console/pc.

Played some L4D2 with a friend earlier today, we might pick it up with a group until Overwatch drops.
Currently playing Civ 5 fairly regularly.

Everyone keeps mentioning rocket league but i haven't looked in to it. Is it just soccer as rocket cars? Mostly. There's a hockey mode as well, and an upcoming basketball one. The physics are different in the hockey mode compared to the soccer one. It's really difficult to explain what's so fun about it. But I'm not a soccer guy outside of the world cup/EuroCup and I really enjoy it.

Dragon's Dogma. As long as you don't expect emphasis on gameplay and content as opposed to storytelling and npc's... it's one of the most fun RPG experiences ever. The combat system is a dream.
If you combined DD's gameplay with Skyrim's everything else.... my god.

Been playing that Pokemon Yellow on my 3DS. I forgot how much grinding is involve in this game. Plus, all those moves that extend the battle making it feel like forever, bind and wrap.
Anybody else get it? Or Blue? Or Red? I wanna trade so I can get an Alakazam and Gengar.

Love a good JRPG. Still looking for a physical copy of Grandia. Picked it up from the playstation store a while back and it very quickly became one of my favorite games.

With Roms, I get to walk fast, do my battles fast and train fast. I chose yellow also because I wanted to use Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charmander.

Street Fighter 5 Metal Gear Solid 5 You've been playing online? How is it so far? And is MSG5 better or worse than 4. Gonna butt into this conversation. Online is as barebones as you can get. I quit playing it after a few days because it go too boring. There's like three different games modes and they're all very simple, gets quite repetitive after a while. Worse. I'm not a fan of MGS 4, too much fan service and it's just kind of eh compared to the first three games. Might be because Kojima was forced to make MGS 4 as opposed to the first three, which were made all under his own accord. With that said, MGS V was a pretty major disappointment for me. The gameplay is some of the best in the series, making it more accessible for new fans I guess, but the big epic story that was promised never delivered for me. Chapter 1 was pretty good, but Chapter 2 was a unfinished mess and Chapter 3 didn't even make the game. It made the ending feel so abrupt and nonconclusive, especially for what was meant to be Kojima's last MGS. The open world idea failed, it just delayed the story by making you ride a horse or drive to every mission and was a pain in the ass IMO. It didn't feel like an MGS game one bit, it felt more like Kojima was trying to make GTA in an MGS skin. I think the first three MGS games are the gold standard, mandatory plays for all gamers. MGS 4 is pretty good also, MGS: Peace Walker is decent, and MGS V is meh, not good, but not terrible. I never really played 4. Like at a friend's house for a few minutes. And I haven't played SF5 online yet. What And isn't 5 a continuation of the previous story? Also, quote the post so i don't have to check the thread to see if you replied. Come on man Nah, V is a continuation/finale of the Big Boss saga, which started with MGS 3 and MGS: Peace Walker. It's a prequel to the events of MGS 1, 2 and 4, which feature Solid Snake as the protagonist 15-20 years after MGS V. I don't think you 100% NEED to play any prior games before this, but you might not understand some stuff if you don't play MGS 3 and Peace Walker. Plus, they're both great games that would get you familiar with the series. I'd pay you if you don't cry at the end of MGS 3, it's that good.

If you're interested in playing the series and not just MGS V, play 1-5 in release order including Peace Walker and Ground Zeroes.
You'll fucking love it.

Probably my favorite genre overall. Dragon Quest 8 for PS2 (can also easily be emulated on psx2 and played in HD) is in my 3 favorite games of all time. Excellent art style, charming characters, great voice acting and the amount of content in the game, plus the battle system and story combine to make it unforgettable. Recommended to anybody. Final Fantasy X and XII also great, with X having one of the best stories ever in a video game.

I wanted to have it on my 3DS, because its handy to have during my train rides or break between classes when Im too tired to read or study.

Lets make some trades! I'll send you my friend code when I get home today. Only early in it. Got started on bravely second at the moment. Anyone in to jrpgs should have played bravely default and bravely second I just need someone to trade my pokemon to level up and then trade them back to me. It'll be a quickie. I'll return the favor when you reach the stage when you need a Machamp, or Golem, or Alakazem, or Gengar.

Are you going to get the new pokemon version later this year? My ID is 3582-9535-5731 I'm planning too. I'm predicting there to be a lot of changes in my life in the coming year, but if everything works out and I'm able, I will definitely grab it.

Division takes a while IMO. once you're level 12 or so and have access to times square I liked it a lot more.
