1. Washington Redskins
2. Philadelphia Eagles
3. New York Giants
After a disappointing year, the Giants have been a bit quiet in free agency, even with money to spend. With Victor Cruz slumping, the Giants could look to the draft for a receiver to pair with ODB, or a safety to provide some much needed secondary help to a team that allowed a league worst 299 ypg. Now that the negatives are out of the way, I expect the Giants to rebound and have a successful 2016 campaign. A talented backfield coupled with one of the leagues best wide outs and a veteran QB should provide for a very strong offense. The Giants have an easier road to the playoffs this year, picking up the Lions, Bears, and Saints at home and the Browns and Rams away.
4. Dallas Cowboys
How bout them Cowboys? If Tony Romo gets hurt one more time, there will be riots in Dallas. Without their start quarterback (and no Dez Bryant), the Dallas Cowboys looked to be the worst team in the league last year. A healthy Romo and a healthy Dez should be a quick fix for that. With the best O-Line still in football, Dallas really needs Darren McFadden and Lance Dunbar to take advantage and have career years. Picking up an edge rusher or linebacker in the draft is a must for Dallas, as their quarterback pressure last year was almost non-existent. But, with Tony Romo aging and being fragile, I wouldn't be surprised to see a 2nd round pick used on finding a replacement QB. Expect improvement on last years team, but the Cowboys are still several key moves away from making it back to the playoffs. Sorry Tony.
