They got rid of spiderman because he has nothing to do with the story arc or the film in general. He was there purely to show that he exists and hype up future films with him. Thats not really a reason to kick him out. No one had anything to do with the story except iron man cap and russian boy.

It doesn't really matter anyway because that has nothing to do with my point either.

X-men Apocalypse 6/10- I'll try and not spoil it. It tries to do so many things at once not to the extent of BvS but it was messy. Apocalypse was a big letdown in this film but I expected that. My favorite characters were Quicksliver and Magento, my favorite scenes in the movie involve these two. The other characters were average for me personally.

Apocalypse was better than I expected. 7.2/10. It kind of dragged on, and some of the acting was just okay (sansa kinda sucked tbh) but overally not bad at all. They definitely didnt need that random wolverine scene. That was awful. McCavoy really stepped it up. He wasnt a great xavier in past movies but I think he finally nailed it. Fassbender was great, though he shouldve probably got more time. It actually didnt focus all around lawrence like I was afraid of either. So yeah, not anywhere near days of future past, but not bad at all.

Deep Web (2015 documentary) 3.5/5
So the Silk Road dude wasn't that bad of a guy after all, or at least that's how the doc made it feel.
Keanu Reeves was the narrator and Alex Winter wrote, produced and directed it. Somewhat of a Bill and Ted reunion, but off-screen/production reunion.

Hush 4/5
One of those really simple but fresh thrillers. Creepy and uncomfortable.

Just watched Batman v Superman. Thought it was a ok movie not good but not terrible. Liked the portrayal of Batman and Wonder Woman. The action scenes despite how far and few they were I liked. The movie overall was boring. I didn't care at all in a lot of parts and the villain of the movie Lex Luthor was pretty shit in my opinion.
6/10

Mean Streets.. first teamup of Robert de Niro and director Martin Scorsese..
Rating: 3.5/5 or 7/10.
Not their best movie but of course their first time working together. Their next few movies are spectacular.

Watched SS yesterday it wasn't as bad as some of the reviews online. Having said that it was a mess. I'll talk about the good first. Deadshot was the standout of the movie. He was badass, funny and the most fleshed out character in the movie. Amanda Waller came in a close second she was 100% like the comicbook version great performance. Diablo was the surprise of the movie didn't expect much but he did good. Harley Quin was okay she did't get annoying. Killer croc, Katanna weren't really need in this film lol. the pair had barely and speaking lines and just stood around. Need more of the Joker he was weird and behaved differently in every scene he was in.
The bad enchantress holy shit was she a bad villain and actress. Her plans were never explained and that ending was really bad. I don't know if they rushed the ending or they really though that was acceptable but it bad and predictable. Second DC film in a row were it felt choppy I heard 10+ scenes were deleted from the movie and you can tell. Many of the joker scenes in the trailers don't show up in the movie. I think another company should run DC movies WB time and time again are their own worst enemies lol. I know there is a better version of this film that is out there somewhere. I really wanted this film to be great but it was only slightly enjoyable the characters really carried this movie from the bad plot, villain and choppy editing. I give it 6/10.

That is entirely on the directing crew, writers, and the producers. They need to focus more on the writing, and spend more on directing crew. Spend less on CGI and more on directing. Great directing can sometimes overcome poor writing on the fly because great directors are usually closely involved in the screenplay with the writing team - not always but often. As far as producers go, that one would be on WB... Going to see the movie in few hours.

Burnt-7/10
It's Bradley Cooper is a chef movie from the spring, that totally flopped. Trailers made it look like either a romance movie or a comeback movie(which it was). I'm surprised it got horrible reviews. It's an enjoyable watch with a couple really good scenes. It's definitely not a great film or anything, but it is well done and pretty solidly acted.

There will be blood. 9/10
Great movie with powerful acting by Daniel Day-Lewis and rest of the cast. Story is about an Oil tycoon who starts with nothing but makes it big time. We see his journey from start to finish. From a good man to insanity. Soundtrack is truly great even though it doesn't quite fit the movie plot. Very good directing and written. Dialogue was what I liked a lot. It is on Netflix if you want to check it out!

Huntsman's Winter War 4/10. It's watchable for a couple action scenes, and the story actually isn't bad. It was just...mediocre.

Bastille Day was a really good action movie 8/10.
The Man Who Knew Infinity I can't really put a ranking on. Irons was fantastic, Patel was amazing, the story was pretty good, and the ending was touching if predictable. It's definitely worth a watch if you like indie biopics.

Cinema Paradiso - 9/10.. Inspiring movie about this director looking back into his childhood and how he came to become a fan of films from childhood. We also see things like friendship, love, character development, child curiosity, childishness (humorous scenes), etc. A lot of nostalgia, inspiration and his journey coming full circle literally. Very good movie. Low budget movie but very well done!
