Eh, not sure what Draymond did there. LeBron threw him to the ground, looked at him, then stepped right over him. I'd say something too.

Some crazy Cavs fan just ran into the court, delaying the game probably for Cavs' cause.

Can't be Livingston, can't be Iggy, can't really be Barnes The real threat was Draymond but he blew his chances last two games. I think he needed 16/12/8 type of average to get FMVP. Steph just needs 25-30 or more and a Game 5 win for FMVP.

Tarik posted the guy on ish. "Trump Sucks" Damn, paying hard-earned money to sit near the court side, THEN paying even more money for the fine and probably also serving time in jail, to do this?

Guess I was wrong. I had Warriors in 6, but we are probably not even getting there.
LeBron looked bad in 2nd half. Real bad. He was good while they were up then he disappears when the game was on the line. Typical passive LeBron. I am sorry, but he is no Jordan. I can't even put him in my top 5 all time. He disappears when the lights get bright.
This time, the excuse will be on Kevin Love. He might be getting shipped out. Does LeBron ever not get a pass? Last year, it was lack of Kyrie/Love/Blatt poor coaching. This year they had both players and different coach who they all wanted. Is it not on LeBron at some point for not showing up or even being aggressive when they needed him most? We can look at his great stat-line, but where was he in 2nd half? Especially the 4th quarter..
He is no Jordan, Magic, Kareem, Bird, Russell, Duncan or even Shaq. These guys show up when it matters the most and when they are most needed. I don't want to put this in biggest thread ever or ISH because I will probably be trolled for it lol. I have seen Shaq choke at FT line when it mattered and later in his career, but otherwise, he was always there in 4th quarter dominating!

That might be the biggest obstacle I have with cheering for LeBron.
The criticism of his mentality always seemed a overblown, if not misguided. Especially earlier in his career around the days when the Cavs had a little rivalry with Washington. If I were him, I would probably play very similarly considering at one point in my young life I wanted to play SF (after Grant Hill - ugh), but my coaches made me play PG because I had a decent handle and all I would do is pass. That's stuck with me my entire athletics life, even when I play video games or just about anything team related. So I completely understand his style of basketball versus the MJ, Kobe, and Bird's of world. He's not wired that way and it doesn't make him any less a basketball player because of it. You can be great without being the one who is scoring every basket and it's a strange way to judge people by.
What's not am unfair standard to judge great players by is showing up when it matters. While LeBron certainly has had his moments, the guy disappears in big games way more than he should by ATG standards (which he obviously should be held to if he wants to be the GOAT discussion). I don't give a shit about his stats. His impact sometimes is astoundingly minimal for a player with his advantages while being so ball dominant. It's especially evident when it's juxtaposed against someone like Steph tonight or Dirk throughout that one Finals.
And then (if you look past the extreme haters) while literally every other star I can think of shoulders most, if not all, of the blame. With LeBron? He can't do it all by himself. Wade missed that one shot. Bosh fucked up that one defensive assignment. Kyrie is shooting too much. Love can't play defense. It's not just the secondary stars either. Even the role players get shit on before LeBron. It's unlike anything I've ever seen for a player of his talents. The guy practically hand picks his teams, coaches, and teammates. It's not his fault, he needs more help. Even if some of it may be true, why does LeBron get this holy grail of passes? I don't recall MJ getting this treatment from the media. Not Kobe. Not Brady. Not Manning. It's bewildering.

Not Manning. It's bewildering. You are absolutely correct and much more thorough in your analysis. MJ used to get ripped by the media until he started winning around the time they got Pippen/PJax. I guess with LeBron, they see these awesome stats, close to triple double every few games, high marketability and become mesmerized. Too often, his lack of aggressiveness when they badly need him gets overlooked. Tonight, it was purely on the shoulders of LeBron in 4th quarter. No excuse this time and these finals - he has no excuse. I told an old friend of mine, who is a massive Cavs fan, before series began on Facebook that he has no excuse this time. Last year when they lost, he kept going on about how Warriors lucked out bc LeBron was missing Kyrie and Love. I have not heard from him since I told him LeBron has no excuse these finals.

Outside of the Raps making the conference finals, this post-season has been butt. Hopefully next year brings something, anything interesting.

Lebron did a little of everything in the first half and got his teammates involved, score was still close and at times they had the lead, couldn't really trash him. Maybe passive on scoring side but his team was in it. He did hit a 3's in the 3rd and looked like he was trying to score in that 3rd Quarter. However, in the 4th, Kyrie was the only one out there trying to fight Steph and Klay's onslaught. This was a time for Lebron to score and he didn't look to score. And that last minute was pathetic for the Cavs because they traded intentional fouls for 2's when they needed 3's - and the two guys they fouled were Steph and Klay (two of the best FT shooters).

Yeah, LeBron was fine in 1st half. LeBron is usually fine when they are leading or when the crowd is cheering him on. The problem is when things are not going well and crowd shimmers down a bit. When lights are the brightest, and they need him the most, he disappears. I was asking myself all of 4th quarter "Where you at, king james? They need you right now. YOU!" It was truly insane that Warriors made 1 extra 3pt shot than 2pt FG. They needed LeBron in 2nd half to drive into the paint to offset what GSW was doing. Who is stopping him if he drove? (not asking you, just a rhetorical question) He is a freight train literally when he drives lol. If the 7 guys I mentioned or even kobe had LeBron's body and skills, they would be GODLIKE!
