Cavs are gonna show no mercy today, Raptors need JV to stand a chance. I just want this series to be over with quickly so there's less chance of a CLE injury heading into the finals against GSW/OKC

Though Arenas sounds ghetto as fuck, he actually makes good points

Why are we giving the biggest disgrace of the league any attention ?
He should probably thank Caron Butler everyday for not getting killed sooner by Javaris Crittenton.

Arenas has always had something against the Raptors. The funny thing is that he has rarely ever had a good game against them. During games set in Toronto, he'll spend long hours in Toronto's nightlife, you could tell he was playing the game the next time hungover. For the amount of hate he has for the team, he sure does love the city.
I think I'm beginning to understand the guy. He played with a chip on his shoulder most of his career. When he was drafted in the second round and the Golden State Warriors refused to pay the big bucks he thought he deserved, Gilbert thought nobody appreciated him. Then he rose to new heights in Washington, becoming a scoring leading threat in the entire league and his legendary performance at the Staple Center (The Birth of Agent 0), he became a mega superstar overnight. Of course, it didn't last long as he flew too close to the sun, had his career wings melt, and then we could do nothing, but watch him spiral down into obscurity.
I feel there is a deeper purpose why Arenas choose to speak out against the Raptors again after all these years. The Raptors have rarely ever earned any respect in this league. They gained a little during the Carter era and quickly lost it when each and every star decided to leave for greener and American pastures. The Raptors had to work even harder to prove themselves by winning three consecutive division titles, hosting the all-star game, and finally reaching the Conference Finals. But now if they get swept against the Cavs and lose each game in a blowout, their haters will return with stronger voices and let us know that no matter how much the Raptors improve, they will find a way to lose epically.
I think Arenas sees the Raptors as a mirror. Both are constantly having to prove to others how good they really are and work hard to earn everybody's respect. When they do gain it, they find a way to ruin things for themselves and become a laughing stock. Maybe this is why Arenas is attacking the Raptors so viciously, because they represent a part of himself that he hates to see within himself.
Or maybe I'm just looking far too deep into this lol.

So the Cavs are allowed to play as physical as they want, but if the Raptors touch them, it's an automatic foul. Cool.
Cool. Cool. Cool.

Their own shooting woe for some Raps is one but NBA not wanting Raps to succeed further makes it a hell tougher to chew. From what I've seen, DeRozan really doesn't drive all that much; he looks for the mid range shot/floater and rarely ever attacks which is very odd given his skill and athleticism. Either way, the Raptors were doomed from the start due to not having JV. I remember during the season they (the Raps) were considered legit threats to the Cavs but all of that seems to have vanished in the playoffs

Raps are outclassed. Cleveland now is a step up from the regular season, Toronto wouldn't have a shot in this series even if they were playing their best basketball.

Whatever "decompress" is, there is no reason not to stop supporting Lowry and the Raps.
Even if they get swept, it will still be a great season for them and we Raps fans should be all appreciated.

I want the Raps to somehow take it to 6 games at least. More games at the ACC, the better. I've been thinking long term support from the fan base and just want to see the ride go as far as it can. Obviously the Raps going tothe Finals would have been amazing but that's not going to happen and winning the title would have been too perfect of a story to happen.

It's official: Raps will only be able to keep either Derozan or Biyombo, not both.
Bismack's value will continue to go up and up.

Nice to see the Canadians have some sort of balls. As small and hairless as they may be.

Also I wonder what Hornets fans think of Biyombo. They let him walk, he signs a cheap contract, and how he's grabbing more boards than his (supposed) age in the ECF. Always interesting when still young, once highly touted players, are given a change of scenery. Particularly high motor ones. Unless you're like Durant or Bron, nearly every player just needs to find the right situation.

Bismack 1 REB away from tying Raptors franchise record (25) set by him a couple of months ago.
